  • Yes, down with all these lies! No make-believe, no imaginary play, no fairy tales EVER!!! Children need to be taught that only concrete things we can see are worth engaging in! Get a pencil in their hands in school and get their little fingers to the grind.

  • Anti-Santa people take it waaay too seriously. It's just a silly thing, a fun thing, a joke for kids to enjoy. It boggles my mind how people want to claim it's trauma and lies. Isn't that a little overboard? I found out Santa wasn't real because his handwriting on the tags matched my parents'.

  • There was just an article released saying only 2% of foreign foods brought into our country are inspected. But they want to regulate the life out of the farmers' markets here where I live.

  • She taught at one of the schools in the "bad" section of her city. In the better communities, students are more often expected to behave or face consequences. But in the worst parts of town, nothing really changes at the schools.

  • Too bad my former college roommate couldn't fire the students who continually disrupted her classroom! Perhaps if she'd been able to, she'd still be a math teacher today.

  • My college roommate entered the field as a math teacher, so excited and hoping to stay working as a teacher her entire career. Three years later, she quit. Her reason for leaving was the handful of disruptive, badly behaved students in each class.

  • Oh, good grief. My kids have been in those play areas a few times and they were fine. I played in them as a child and I'm fine, too. Our country is such a "fear nation" now. People are scared of just about everything instead of thinking about things logically.
